Images of the Day

Colour can make a large impact on an image. Take away the colour and all you have to work with are composition, light and texture. Here are two images that do those things perfectly.
The first image is Bike by finestra. This is just perfect, it looks like a still from a french arthouse film. This is the sort of shot that I dream of taking - I mean, how long do you have to wait for this sort of moment? Incredible shot.
The second image is Whitby Abbey by Vixs. Such a strong and moody image and possibly the most popular graveyard in the country.
